Jeremy K. Fishman is a member of the firm's Litigation and Real Estate Departments. His areas of practice encompass personal injury, foreclosure, workers' compensation claims and general litigation matters. His real estate practice includes general real estate transactions and residential settlements, as well as foreclosure matters and litigation. He has represented major mortgage companies and landlords.

A knowledgeable and skilled representative for his clients, Mr. Fishman has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to develop concise and compelling presentations of his cases that have been very successful in negotiation and court. He has extensive trial experience and has obtained substantial personal injury recoveries for his clients.

Mr. Fishman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. At Michigan, he earned a double degree in Economics and Communications and graduated Cum Laude in May 1991. After graduating from Michigan, Mr. Fishman attended George Mason University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in May 1994.

Throughout law school, Mr. Fishman worked at the firm as a law clerk and provided key legal support. He became an associate in February 1995, and due to his outstanding performance over the next four years in and out of court he was invited to become a principal of Axelson & Williamowsky in December 1999.

Mr. Fishman is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts and Courts of Appeal in the District of Columbia and Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Association. He has been a lifelong resident of Montgomery County.
