Andrew Sindler is very pleased to join the firm as an associate
practicing primarily in the areas of worker’s compensation, personal
injury, medical malpractice, and employment discrimination.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University
of Maryland, Baltimore County, and he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University
of Baltimore, School of Law. During law school, from 2004-2005, Mr. Sindler
volunteered through the University of Baltimore Family Law Clinic, representing
low income clients in domestic matters on a pro bono basis.
Prior to joining Axelson, Williamowsky, Bender & Fishman,
Andrew worked as a law clerk and then an associate with Schlachman, Belsky & Weiner,
P.A., in Baltimore and Prince George’s County. While practicing, Andrew
handled matters in a variety of practice areas, including domestic relations
law (divorce, custody and child support, adoption, paternity, protective and
peace orders, etc.), consumer protection matters, personal injury and worker’s
compensation, social security disability, criminal and traffic matters, general
civil litigation, wills and estates, and administrative matters on behalf of
police officers under the Law Enforcement Officers’ Bill of Rights (LEOBR).
He is a current member of the American Bar Association (ABA), Maryland State
Bar Association (MSBA), Montgomery and Prince George’s County Bar Associations,
DC Bar Association, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, Phi Delta Phi International
Law Fraternity, and the University of Baltimore School of Law Alumni Society.
Andrew
has also
been involved in the community for various charitable causes, including raising
money for cancer research for the Wellness Society.
Andrew is admitted to the Maryland Bar, the Worker’s Compensation
Commission of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of
Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Andrew
is a native of Pikesville, but currently resides in Germantown with his fiancé Julie.
